The Northern Ireland Squirrel Forum, in partnership with its members, have drawn-up a useful booklet to provide guidance to landowners who may wish to plant trees that are favourable to red squirrels. It’s a useful resource and is particularly relevant for those who live in areas where grey squirrels are a threat as conifer rather than broad-leaved species are recommended such as Scots pine.
