Derrygonnelly Field Studies Council (FSC) has received funding, via NIEA’s Challenge Fund, to deliver two education training opportunities for volunteers of Red Squirrel Groups across Northern Ireland. The training will assist volunteers to better deliver outreach education to a range of groups including schools and communities. Resources and materials along with ideas for activities and games will be some of the benefits attendees will take away with them from the session.
Two identical sessions will be delivered – one inĀ FSC’s centre in Derrygonnelly, Co. Fermanagh. The other will be delivered at the Peatlands Park, Co. Armagh.
This course will be led by Heather McDowell, an environmental educator at FSC Derrygonnelly.
