Dave has been at the fore-front of pine marten research in Northern Ireland from surveying and monitoring, providing guidance to property owners to establishing artificial dens to improve their conservation status. Dave has been a great ally of Red Squirrel Groups across Northern Ireland and has a wealth of experience in the conservation of this enigmatic, endangered native mammal.
