Through an initiative organised by The Conservation Volunteers and OVO Energy, we applied for and have been successful in acquiring bare-rooted tree species. The 150 trees are free to members who may wish to plant them on their land, grounds, gardens etc. The fruits and berries of these trees will be highly-prized by red squirrels and other wildlife in the autumn and winter months.

The trees are whips (approximately 2-3ft in height) and come bare-rooted with their own bamboo cane and transparent spiral guard. The 5 species available are: rowan, crab apple, field maple, bird cherry and cherry plum. The trees are suitable for small gardens but we would also suggest you research individual species so you know what you’re getting. If you are interested in getting your hands on some trees, please email us and we will take it from there!
